Membership Benefits
Focal Zone, as the official publication of the OSDMS, is a way of sharing important news with our members by:
- providing professional news and regular information and updates on the work of the OSDMS
- promoting personal and professional development by advising the members of seminars and other continuing education opportunities
- providing information regarding employment opportunities
- raising awareness and promoting members' use of society benefits
CME CreditsMembers are provided with the opportunity to obtain a minimum of 14 credits per year to be used to maintain active registration. Applicable CME credits are directly forwarded to the ARDMS.
EducationOSDMS organizes Education Days in both spring and fall, which offer sonographers stimulating information on a variety of pertinent topics. The Annual General Meeting is included the fall session. Members pay a reduced fee to attend the education days.
Electionsor positions on the Board of Directors are held annually. Nominations are accepted at any time of the year and all Active members are entitled to vote.
