Credit Valley Imaging Associates (CVIA) is a well established diagnostic imaging facility located in Mississauga, Ontario which is seeking:
(a) a part-time registered ultrasound technologist (Mon/Tues/Wed shifts) to join their growing clinical practice; and
(b) part-time ultrasound technologists to provide evening and Saturday coverage. This facility is supported by 16 hospital-based radiologists providing services in ultrasound, vascular ultrasound, x-ray, mammography (including OBSP), and nuclear medicine.
Qualifications:
· Successful completion of a recognized ultrasound program in Canada
· Certified RVT technologist with arterial and vascular ultrasound experience would be an asset
· Registration with the ARDMS, CSDMS and CARDUP; and IPS certification
· Ultrasound experience in performing abdominal/pelvic, OB/GYN, small parts, and MSK examinations
· Demonstrate ability to work under pressure and exercise independent judgment
· Demonstrate ability to assess requests and prioritize them to ensure excellent and prompt patient care
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills
