Newly Renovated Independent Health Facility located in downtown Peterborough with four on-site ultrasound machines and one off-site machine at Campbellford Memorial Hospital. Currently looking for an enthusiastic, team player to join our expanding practice.

JOB TITLE: Ultrasonographer, Full-time

DUTIES: - Reporting to Medical Director (Radiologist)

-Sonographer must be able to organize and perform Abdominal, Pelvic, Obstetrical, small parts and extremity venous Doppler exams.  Musculo-Skeletal and Nuchal Translucency studies an asset

-maintain and document high quality images and practice good patient care

-able to work at both sites

QUALIFICATIONS:  Successful completion of a recognized ultrasound program in Canada

-Registration with ARDMS, CARDUP  and CSDMS

-Certified in Abdominal Pelvic and Obstetrical ultrasound

-If applicant a new graduate, must successfully complete registered exams within three months of hiring.

-able to work independently as well as part of a team

-excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with excellent patient care.

-good work attendance required

SALARY: Competetive

HOURS:  Monday to Friday, no weekends/ evenings
