Vernon Jubilee Hospital is slated to become a satellite teaching hospital for the new medical program offered at the University of British Columbia Okanagan. All of our sites are connected through our regional Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS) integrated into our single Electronic Health Record providing real time patient histories anywhere within Interior Health.

Interior Health seeks your technical experience in performing a variety of procedures and special duties including preparing clients for procedures, providing diagnostic services and interventional ultrasonography. At Vernon Jubilee, we have 3 ultrasound rooms, one echo room, and the current equipment is the Phillips IU22, GE Vivid 7, and GE Logiq 9.

Your Qualifications:

• Successful completion of an accepted training program for ultrasound technologists
• Successful completion of written American Board examinations for ultrasound in obstetrics, gynaecology, abdomen and echocardiography preferred
• Current certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and/or Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (CSDMS)
• Eligible for membership with ARDMS and/or CSDMS.
• Two years experience in medical sonography preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply
