Wherever you play, it is imperative to wear a proper mask and safety goggles. Without both, you are prohibited from playing. You can rent masks and goggles along with other supplies or buy your own at the store. Most paintball masks condense quickly so it’s hard to see through these masks. A number of players who often play buy anti-fog masks so that the view is not obstructed and they can breathe better. Get proper equipment on

Put on other gear. When you get a paintball shot by another player, the gunshot may leave bruises on your skin. Rental equipment only provides essential protection, such as face masks and protective clothing or vests. Hence, it’s not a bad idea to add extra protection for yourself. Shots hitting the palms will be very painful. Wear thick clothes and long sleeves/legs every time you play. Some fields have lots of mud and undergrowth so it’s best to wear protective clothing. Boys should buy athletic cups, or buy paintball pants that have crotch protectors.

The locations for playing paintball vary in size and layout. This game can be played both outdoors and indoors, depending on where you live. Typically, a fieldset up specifically for paintball has bunkers, tables, drums, piles of used tires, and other shelters scattered across the court. If possible, games can also be played on private land that has provided shelters. However, it’s best if novice players look for paintball playing facilities only.

Understand the basic rules of paintball. When going to play in the arena, you can choose the type of game you want to play. However, there are some basic rules that apply regardless of the type of play. Most of the games are time-limited matches between teams. The winner is usually determined by which team has shot the most opponents.
